Consultation on the Coding & Robotics Lessons
Help us develop the best coding & robotics curriculum for after-school programs.
Thank you for accepting our invitation to contribute to Dream Formula Education! We choose to teach coding & robotics because we believe it is an essential hard skill for the 21st century. We were motivated to start our coding program when Henry, the founder of DFE, found out one of his students was taking coding lessons at one of the most successful after-school programs in the US but barely knew a thing about coding after one year of learning. Later, Henry learned from two of his Berkeley friends who worked at the program that the coding school makes a minimal effort on curriculum development and educator training. After discussing this issue with the student’s parent, the parent said he didn’t know much about his son’s learning either and was hoping that Dream Formula Education(DFE) can develop coding lessons for his son. This is just one of the cases where we have identified a market need of parents seeking professionally developed CS curricula for grade school children.
Now, DFE has been working on designing a curriculum that can teach K-12 students both hardware and software knowledge and skills. To help us develop our coding & robotics curriculum, please briefly answer the following questions based on your professional knowledge and experience from both education and work.
To show our appreciation for your contribution, you will be listed as a consultant on our Thank You Page. Please send Henry a photo of yourself, or we will use the photo on your Linkedin page. If you don’t want to be listed on the Thank You Page, please let Henry know.
